Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our website, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on “Order” and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
Data collected by this site is used to:
- Take and fulfil customer orders
- Administer and enhance the site and service
- Only disclose information to third-parties for goods delivery purposes
- Send you future offers unless you decide to opt-out.
Payment Options
We accept credit/debit card payment, and payments through Paypal, We accept Klarna, Visa and Mastercard Solo, Switch and Amex. As you are redirected to a third-party payment gateway (standard internet practice), your card details are taken by those organisations. Details of their security measures – PCI-DSS compliance – can be found on their websites.
Credit Card Security
All payments are made through a third-party payment gateway. We do not store any card details for future use.
When filling in the address on the payment form please make sure that you input the same details as your postal address.
If you have any problem with paying via the online gateway please contact the office before trying again.
You can also place your order over the phone 5 days a week between 10 am and 3.00 pm by calling 0333 335 0096 and selecting Option Two.
Klarna, Payl8r and Clearpay
Bristol Airguns may offer payment services through third-party finance and payment providers including Klarna, Payl8r and Clearpay.
Use of these services is subject to the separate terms, conditions and approval processes of the relevant provider.
By selecting one of these payment methods, the customer agrees that:
- they may be required to enter into a separate agreement with the payment provider;
- credit checks or affordability assessments may be carried out by the provider;
- Bristol Airguns has no control over acceptance, refusal or terms offered by the provider;
- all payment schedules, late payment charges, interest charges and account management are governed by the provider’s own terms and conditions.
Bristol Airguns accepts no responsibility for decisions made by Klarna, Payl8r or Clearpay regarding finance approval or account management.
Customers should ensure they fully understand the relevant provider’s terms before entering into any finance or instalment agreement.

Back Orders
If your item is not in stock it will be placed on backorder. We take deliveries from our suppliers weekly so your goods will normally be delivered in a maximum of 8 working days for postal items or 11 working days for hand-delivered items. If there is a longer delay in getting hold of the item you will be contacted to give you the option of waiting or cancelling your order.
Delivery and Shipping
Certain products sold by Bristol Airguns, including air rifles, air pistols, silencers and other controlled items, are subject to specific legal restrictions regarding sale, transfer and delivery under applicable UK firearms legislation.
Bristol Airguns will only complete delivery of such products in accordance with all applicable legal requirements, including face-to-face transfer requirements, age verification obligations and, where necessary, Registered Firearms Dealer (“RFD”) transfer procedures.
Products are delivered to the address specified by the customer during the order process or, where agreed in advance, to an alternative address approved by Bristol Airguns.
Bristol Airguns reserves the right to request photographic identification and proof of address before completing delivery or transfer of any regulated item.
Failure to provide satisfactory documentation may result in cancellation of the order.
Where an item is transferred via an RFD:
- the customer is responsible for ensuring that the nominated RFD is willing to receive the item;
- any transfer, storage or administration fees charged by the receiving RFD are the sole responsibility of the customer;
- Bristol Airguns shall not be liable for delays caused by third-party RFDs.
Estimated delivery times are provided for guidance only and are not guaranteed.
Bristol Airguns shall not be liable for delays caused by events outside its reasonable control, including courier delays, adverse weather conditions, industrial action, supply shortages or regulatory requirements.
Nothing in these terms limits any statutory rights available to consumers under applicable law.
Loss or Damage in Transit
Customers must inspect goods promptly upon delivery.
Any shortages, delivery discrepancies or visible transit damage should be reported to Bristol Airguns as soon as reasonably possible and, where appropriate, also noted with the carrier at the time of delivery.
Customers should retain all packaging and make goods available for inspection where requested.
Nothing in this section affects the customer’s statutory rights in relation to goods that are faulty, damaged or not as described.
Consumer Cancellation Rights
For most online and distance purchases, consumers have the right to cancel their order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
To exercise this right, the customer must notify Bristol Airguns clearly by email, telephone or in writing before the end of the cancellation period.
The customer must return the goods within 14 days of notifying Bristol Airguns of cancellation.
Returned goods should, where reasonably possible, be returned complete, unused and with all original accessories, manuals and packaging.
Bristol Airguns reserves the right to reduce any refund to reflect any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling beyond what would reasonably be permitted in a retail environment.
This cancellation right does not apply to:
- bespoke or made-to-order goods;
- specially ordered non-standard items;
- personalised products;
- sealed hygiene or personal-use items once opened;
- goods exempted from cancellation rights under applicable law.
Where cancellation rights apply, refunds will be processed within 14 days of Bristol Airguns receiving the returned goods or receiving evidence that the goods have been returned.
Returns Policy
Customers wishing to return goods must first contact Bristol Airguns to obtain returns authorisation details.
Unless goods are confirmed to be faulty, incorrectly supplied or not as described, the customer is responsible for all return carriage costs.
This includes:
- courier charges;
- tracked or insured delivery services;
- specialist carriage requirements;
- RFD transfer costs;
- any additional lawful transport or handling costs.
Customers are strongly advised to use an appropriately insured and tracked delivery service.
Returned items remain the customer’s responsibility until safely received and inspected by Bristol Airguns.
Any loss or damage occurring during return transit remains the responsibility of the sender and may affect entitlement to a refund.
Returned goods must be packaged securely and returned in a condition suitable for safe transport.
Where goods are returned in a condition preventing resale as new, Bristol Airguns reserves the right to reduce the refund to reflect the diminished value of the goods.
Special-order, bespoke or non-standard items may be subject to a reasonable cancellation or restocking charge where permitted by law and where such charges reflect actual losses reasonably incurred by Bristol Airguns.
Faulty Goods
Customers have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 in relation to goods that are faulty, not as described or unfit for purpose.
Where a product is believed to be faulty, the customer must contact Bristol Airguns with full details of the issue.
Goods returned as faulty will be inspected and tested.
If the item is confirmed to be faulty, Bristol Airguns will, where appropriate and in accordance with consumer law:
- repair the item;
- replace the item;
- offer a refund; or
- provide another appropriate remedy.
Where goods are confirmed as faulty, Bristol Airguns will reimburse reasonable standard return carriage costs.
Bristol Airguns is not responsible for premium, expedited or optional delivery surcharges unless agreed in advance.
Inspection Charges and Non-Faulty Returns
Where goods are returned as allegedly faulty and inspection confirms that:
- no fault exists;
- the goods are functioning correctly; or
- the issue has arisen through misuse, accidental damage, incorrect assembly, unauthorised modification, improper maintenance or normal wear and tear,
Bristol Airguns reserves the right to:
- refuse the return;
- return the goods to the customer at the customer’s expense; and/or
- charge reasonable inspection, testing, administration and carriage costs reasonably incurred.
Any such charges shall reflect actual costs incurred and shall not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
RFD Transfers and Collection Failures
Where goods are transferred to a nominated RFD, the customer is responsible for completing collection and transfer arrangements promptly.
If the customer fails to complete the transfer or collection within a reasonable time, Bristol Airguns reserves the right to:
- cancel the transaction;
- return the goods to stock where legally permitted; and/or
- deduct any reasonable carriage, storage, administration or RFD-related costs incurred.
Warranty and Repairs
Manufacturer warranties apply in accordance with the relevant manufacturer’s terms.
Any additional warranty or repair service offered by Bristol Airguns does not affect the customer’s statutory rights.
Bristol Airguns reserves the right to refuse warranty claims where products have been:
- modified;
- repaired by unauthorised third parties;
- misused;
- improperly maintained; or
- damaged through neglect or accidental damage.
Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence;
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or
- breach of statutory consumer rights.
Subject to the above, Bristol Airguns shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from the use of its products or services.
Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Any disputes arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
